October 6, 2004  -  Announcement

Ethel Delaney will appear as a special guest of the University of Nevada Las Vegas' (UNLV) Excellence in Lifetime Learning class on November 2, 2004 to discuss her career, share reflections on her many experiences with some of Country Music's greatest artists and answer questions.

Ethel was honored to be invited to this special class and is looking forward to sharing her memories.

SEPT/OCT 2004  -  ETHEL Delaney's Hall of Fame Induction by Jay Taylor, Publisher/Editor of "Country Music Trails Less Traveled".

When I met Russ and ETHEL Delaney at the WMA Festival in Las Vegas in November 2002, Ethel had had recent throat surgery and was unable to sing or yodel.

Recently ETHEL sent me a photo of herself, backed by a German band at the Hofbrau House restaurant in Las Vegas on May 23, 2004, where she indicates she got a standing ovation.

ETHEL was also inducted into Bob Everhart's NTCMA Hall of Fame on September 5th, and was able to sing and yodel there.
